Saint Athanasios Stewardship Program Stewardship consists of a commitment of financial resources, personal service in the church using our God given talents, and participation in the life of the Church. All three parts are essential to good Stewardship.
- The Stewarship Program aims to cover ALL of the financial needs of the Church by emphasizing that we all are responsible to be caretakers of Christ's Church and His Ministry.
- All Stewards should contribute based on their individual circumstances and the Church's needs.
- The most important aspect of Stewardship is to offer back to God "The Best" that each individual can give, according to what that person has received.
- The Stewardship Program's ULTIMATE FINANCIAL GOAL is to increase commitments over time so that one day, the Stewardship Program can cover all of the Church's expenses. This will allow the Community to better focus on religious and philanthropic activities, instead of devoting extraordinary amounts of time on fund raising activities.
